Continuous Process: Measure of Consistency and Durability

The Continuous process is the latex industry’s most common method of producing latex. Creating a firm, consistent product, this material is mostly used in mattress base cores, as an economical mattress topper, and as a comfort layer in mattress quilting.

In the Continuous process the latex is poured, cured, washed, and dried on a 150 ft. long belt. Eliminating the air extraction and freezing stages (unique to the Talalay process) creates a firmer product than Talalay latex.

Our Unilatex™ product can be used as mattress support cores in conjunction with top layers of softer Talatech® latex to create lower cost mattresses, but still have a plush feel.

Our EverCloud™ material, is a thinner, Continuous process alternative. It brings conforming support and durability to the surface of any mattress – latex or innerspring. It can also be integrated into mattress quilting or used as an affordable comfort layer.

Testing of Evercloud™ shows strong resistance to body impressions – up to 29% better than other materials. This reduces return rates and improves comfort life making it ideal for no-flip mattress designs.
